James M. Meng, AIA, NCARB - Managing Principal

It is Jim Meng's vision of good design carried to its highest potential through attention to detail and strong project management that defines the firm. Trained at the University of Houston, his 30+ years of practice encompass projects of varying type and scope. From schools to community centers, offices and warehouses to private residential commissions, Meng maintains a commitment to architecture that balances aesthetic vision and practical know-how -- ultimately delivering projects that serve the client well on all levels.

Meng founded FORMUS in 1990. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the American Institute of Architects and the International Code Council.
